A Message from the Clerk
I ran for this office because I believe our citizens deserve professionalism, cooperation and hard work in county government. So, professionalism, cooperation and hard work are the themes of our office. Our goals are to (1) treat each customer with respect and handle all matters which concern the office with professionalism; (2) cooperate with all other officials to improve citizens' experience with county government; and (3) work hard to insure that all records and pleadings are timely filed, recorded and available for public review.
We have been successful in improving the office. But we still have a lot to do. We are in the process of making long-term decisions that should greatly improve technology in , and the functions of, our office and we solicit your input at chanceryclerk@madison-co.com.
My staff is at your service, and I urge you to contact any one of us directly should you have any questions or concerns. In the unfortunate event that our office does not meet your expectations, I hope you will call me directly at 601-855-5526 or email me at johnston@madison-co.com.
